Dark Matters a Lot 
I have to admit, although I try and follow your thought process – it isn’t easy. Can these “branes” be man made? Maybe man made is not the correct term. Antagonized by man? It seems things have gotten progressively worse since fracking started. More earthquakes, sinkholes, warmer temperatures. I think we are messing with mother nature too much and making her very mad.

I told you I had ADD so I jump around a little… Anyway, I believe mankind is going to be able to take advantage of LENR (low energy nuclear reactions) & vacuum energy through casimir effects and devices that operate with the vacuum at the nanometer scale, which, 28 years ago was probably misidentified as cold fusion and is really just natures way of DECAY, which is also nuclear. I believe natural and manmade CO2 is warming the Earth, providing more energy in the oceans and atmosphere for these strings of dark matter to condense along cold fronts and within hurricanes and such. In engineering I have to be very careful of closed vessels filled with steam quickly condensing from a cold rain on the surface of the vessel. The more energy to condense/collapse the more violent the storm (it pulls a larger vacuum/delta pressure)
I believe we are messing with mother nature’s energy balance through carbon emissions. However, in the long run, I believe it will be a large increase in atmospheric vacuum energy concentration from a massive solar flare or comet that will send Earth spiraling into another ice age while all of that orbital dark matter condenses our atmosphere and decays over years/decades/centuries. I believe there is an enormous amount of energy in those energetic particles (which are really just branes) that the Sun is collapsing and expelling towards Earth.
My biggest concern right now, if this vacuum energy is what is creating our weather, then it is also what is most likely limiting our lives thru decay (background ionizing radiation and LENR) and it appears to vary in concentration geographically if that Doppler radar is showing me what I think it is.
