You don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows

Transposed Wind Rose for Buffalo, New York Airport overlayed on the East Buffalo Area Cancer Cluster. I transposed it because I like to see the direction the wind is going, not where it is coming from – this is the direction the particulate/air pollution will travel from a source. If the primary cause of the elevated cancer rates is airborne particulate/pollution, the rose points strongly to the Diesel Railroad Switchyards as a primary source.
