This warship underwent accelerated corrosion due to STRAY ELECTRICAL CURRENTS where metal meets the saltwater. This WAS NOT galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. You can see the corrosion where the hull meets the saltwater. This is the same accelerated corrosion that is destroying all of our near shore coral reefs near high power, high gain antennas. ALL transmitters will have an effect, INCLUDING CELL TOWERS

It turned out that three factors had coincided to produce a perfect storm of galvanic [electrical current corrosion] corrosion. The first factor was that normally, such ships are equipped with a Cathodic Protection System (CPS). Originally, the LCS-2 design did include cathodic protection in the waterjets, alongside coatings and insulation, but it wasn’t enough, and some of the insulation wasn’t installed properly.
The final problem was that there is a big difference between the electronic fits on merchant ships and warships. There are a lot more electronic systems on the latter and they run at power levels that are an order of magnitude (or more) greater than their civilian equivalents. This means that the stray electrical currents that are the basic cause of galvanic corrosion are much more common and a lot more damaging. This was actually the fundamental issue; the powerful radars and other electronic equipment were setting up eddy currents in the hull and they were greatly accelerating the whole galvanic corrosion issue.
This effect was unsuspected and its occurrence/non-detection was the result of moving a technology into entirely new waters. There was a very steep learning curve involved, but once it had been completed, it was realized that the problem was actually a known one with a known fix. It was just that the unsuspected interplay of powerful electronics and galvanic corrosion meant that a lot more of the fix was needed.
So let there be NO Doubt that radars( can induce electrical currents and corrosion in metals in contact with seawater (electrolyte). Calcium is a very reactive metal (stronger than aluminum) and that is why our coral reefs are disappearing.

So that is a very strong indicator of accelerated corrosion of the calcium reef structure to CaCl2, which is orange. Stray electrical current is a strong corrosion accelerator and a VERY likely candidate. First step is to kill off the coral and then corrode/erode the skeleton

You should check the white tips of those coral for higher concentrations of Calcium Chloride (Orange) and Calcium Oxide(White). There are both byproducts of stray electrical current corrosion of a metal (zinc or calcium, etc) in the presence of electrical currents

Why are our coral reefs at Milolii and Nualolo on the north shore of Kauai turning bright orange? In my 50 years of diving and over 5,000 hours underwater I have never seen a coral reef die in one year and then turn orange! Well our expert Chemical Engineer Stewart Simonson figued it out for us.
Just look at the map of Kauai and notice the dark red areas along the north shore. This is a trillion watts of focused radiation blasted out into the clouds 200 to 1,000 times a second. This amound of radiation is as much as the HAARP program was using in the isolated outback of Alaska where no one lives!
This massive amount of radiation can effect the weather dramatically in the Pacific Ocean and it also grounds out onto the reef killing the corals. Electricity and salt water do not mix.
There is a graph showing each microwave tower and antennas producing the military radiation. So much for being worried about smart meters. That is like worring about a pellet gun whan a nuclear weapon just went off.
We have all kinds of articles from the boating and chemical industry showing that when you put electricity into saltwater it corrodes metals and calcium carbonate! The corals are made up of calcium carbonate. The electricity creates a calcium salt (CaCl2). This salt is orange!!
In 2013 the coral reefs near the military base, at Miliolii and Nualolo were pristine as they have been for over a thousand years! Now 99 % of the corals are dead and the entire reef is turning orange! Just look at the pics I pulled out of my videos or better yet go see for yourself.
If we think that this much radiation is not harming human health then just pay attention to the amount of headaches, muscle spasms, heart palpitations, heart seisures and fatigue we are suffering. These are all short term symptoms of radiation poisoning before people get cancer and bone disorders. Our bones are made of the same chemicals and elements that the corals are made out of. They go, we go.
This assault on the ocean, air, weather, marinelife and humans on Kauai needs to stop!
