“Although the majority of dead sea turtles were found on Mississippi beaches, backtrack analysis of the strandings indicates that much of the at-sea mortality probably occurred in a region just southwest of (Louisiana’s) Cat Island and included inshore Louisiana state waters to the northern part of Chandeleur Sound,” the study states.

That is up to 1,750,000 watts of radiation pulsing over that area at times. Are you guys sure you know where all of that energy is going? Is it like ghostbusters when you cross the streams? How many of those can you overlap before there is an effect on biology? 3? 6? 10? Unlimited? Doesn’t matter? Never thought to check? Can you really average that pulse over time? Is time just an illusion like Einstein thought?
All, the story below is reblogged from The Comets of God. If you follow my theory, comet nuclei are made from collapsed, dark vacuum energy, just like the nucleus of the Sun and Earth. The nuclei decay along their “firewall” and expel decaying quantum dark, vacuum energy into their surroundings, decaying space and creating a quantum gravity field. Humans typically live in a small/moderate amount amount of weakly ionizing vacuum energy all of the time in our atmosphere and I believe nature borrows from it. During storms, the concentration of local vacuum energy increases as does background radiation. It is only when Earth gets pelted by large concentrations of this decaying vacuum energy either expelled from the Sun during a CME/Solar Flare or getting whacked by a comet does the vacuum energy reek havoc on Earth. Increased ionization and decay of the surroundings will result as well as electromagnetic and thermodynamic events in the atmosphere. So keep that in mind as you read the following.
We think we know the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, but is there a plausible explanation for what the Bible says happened? Does a story that tells of brimstone and fire falling from the sky and a woman becoming a pillar of salt have a scientific basis?
A number of astronomers believe the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah involved comet activity. Dr. John S. Lewis, a retired professor of Planetary Sciences at the University of Arizona and Co-Director of the NASA Space Engineering Research Center at the University of Arizona, is one scientist who believes that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was caused by cosmic bombardment (Rain of Fire and Ice: The Very Real Threat of Comet and Asteroid Bombardment). Genesis 19:24 says, “Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven.” “Brimstone (burning sulfur) and fire raining down from heaven” could be a description of the break up and disintegration of a comet in the Earth’s atmosphere above these ancient cities, since large chunks of rocky and icy material falling from heaven would be seen as fire raining down from heaven. In addition, cometary material is rich in sulfur. Even a small meteor fall can produce a smell of sulfur that is so strong that it is almost suffocating.
Few Bible commentators have grasped the true meaning of what is being described in this phrase about fire and brimstone falling from the sky. (Volcanic activity cannot be used to explain the fire and brimstone, because there are no volcanoes or volcanic deposits in the region.) In an effort to explain this phrase, some have said that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was caused by an earthquake which somehow explosively ignited methane gas and sulfur found in the local tar deposits and shot it up into the sky. However, earthquake activity such as this is unprecedented and implausible in terms of geology. For those familiar with astronomy and ancient literature, the expression “fire falling from heaven” is not a cryptic expression nor a literary device that needs some sort of fanciful explanation; it is a simple descriptive phrase. “Fire from heaven” is an accurate description for cosmic material, either a meteor, asteroid, or comet, burning in the atmosphere (“fire”) as it comes in to strike the Earth.
Further indication that a cometary bombardment took place during the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah comes from Genesis 19:28. This verse tells how Abraham “looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.” The “smoke of a furnace” speaks of the rising smoldering cloud that appeared after the explosive cometary impact. An earthquake opening a possible fissure would not produce a towering, smoldering cloud nor create the nodules of sulfur encased in ash found in the area. The impact of even a small cometary fragment over Sodom and Gomorrah could release energy equivalent to the explosion of many hydrogen bombs and raise a mushroom cloud like that in nuclear explosions. Note that the Bible also uses the expression “the smoke of a furnace” in Revelation 9:1-2, when telling how a star (a luminous heavenly body – a comet) from heaven falls to the Earth, and opens a great pit (impact crater). It says smoke will arise out of the pit as the smoke of a great
furnace and the air will be darkened and the sun will be darkened by the smoke. Without a doubt all of this describes an explosive cometary impact.
Knowing that a cometary impact is being described sheds a different light on what happened to Lot’s wife. Genesis 19:23 says that Lot entered Zoar (the town of refuge agreed upon in verse 21) yet verse 26 says Lot’s wife looked back. This is not an issue of Lot’s wife simply turning her head to look back. It is an issue of her returning back in order to look. (In Luke 17:29-32 Jesus likens the day of his return to the day it rained fire and brimstone on Sodom and says “he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot’s wife.”)
By returning back for a view of the impending destruction Lot’s wife was close enough to be “consumed” (Genesis 19:17). Genesis 19:26 says “But his (Lot’s) wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” The Hebrew word translated as “salt” is the word “malach” (#4417 in Strong’s Concordance) which means “powder” as in something “pulverized” like salt or dust. So Genesis 19:26 can be retranslated to read “But his (Lot’s) wife (returned and) looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of dust.”Now this verse takes on new meaning because comet impacts raise and produce vast amounts of dust. After an impact the atmosphere rolls back, and then fierce winds containing superheated grains of dust shoot out from the impact site like the “base surge” which rolls away from the site of a nuclear explosion at ground level. Genesis 19:17 NIV warned of being “swept away.” Genesis 19:25 says all “which grew upon the ground” was destroyed. Anyone caught in this surge at just the right distance could conceivably be suffocated and covered by hot dust and become a pillar of dust after the dust cooled and hardened. This is remindful of those covered by ash and dust when a volcanic eruption rained down on the Italian city of Pompeii.
This Biblical account of fire and destruction raining down from the sky to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah brings to mind the eyewitness accounts of the large comet fragment that broke up in the atmosphere over Tunguska, Siberia in 1908. Further, the concept of fire from heaven bringing destruction is also found in the literature of the ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, and Assyrians, the contemporaries of the peoples of the Old Testament. In this literature we read about their (cometary) gods throwing down fire and firebrands from heaven to Earth, burning brought by “hailstones and flames,” and of the Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah 44:17-19 and 25) and her consorts “who rain flaming fire over the land” in contexts consistent with cosmic impacts.
More importantly, the Bible itself shows that the expression and concept of fire falling from heaven indeed pertains to cosmic material raining down from heaven because of the other times this expression or variations of it are used in the Scriptures in a context relating to cosmic impact. For example, see Exodus 9:23-25, Isaiah 30:3, Ezekiel 38:19-22, Revelation 8:7-10, and 9:1-2.)
The Bible reiterates the cometary nature of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in Isaiah 13. Isaiah 13 describes what we recognize as cometary events, with comets coming in from “the end of heaven . . . to destroy the whole land,” heaven and Earth being shaken and the Sun and the Moon being darkened (Isaiah 13:5, 10, and 13). Then verse 19 says these events “shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.” In Luke 17:26-29, Jesus likens the day of his return to both the day of Noah and the day of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. In terms of catastrophe, the common denominator between all three events will be comet activity. Since natural phenomena can cause fire and brimstone to rain from heaven, the question is: Is there any scientific evidence to support the account of Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction or is it just a morality tale regarding the wages of sin? At the southern end of the Dead Sea in an area characterized by tar pits and oases (Genesis 14:10) archeologists have found the ruins of two ancient Bronze Age cities (Genesis 13:12 and 14:3). Burnt and reddened bricks have been found. Both cities were destroyed by fire. Abundant potsherds indicate a dense population dating to a period between 2500-2000 BC that ended abruptly around 2000 BC.
It is also interesting to note that the surface of the Dead Sea suddenly dropped by several hundred feet around 2200 BC, and some have speculated that the whole southern part of the Dead Sea may be a very shallow impact crater that was caused by a cosmic disaster [Think Sinkhole from Ionization/Decay]. A very shallow impact crater would be consistent with a comet fragment exploding in the atmosphere high above the ground. For example, the 1908 atmospheric impact above Tunguska, Siberia left no discernible crater.
The most definitive evidence for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah would come from geological evidence associated with cosmic impact. Core samples from buried sediments dating to the time these cities were destroyed by fire should contain high concentrations of cosmic dust with very high concentrations of the elements iridium and nickel, and other materials created at impact. There could also be grains of shocked quartz, whose structure stems from the high pressures of impact or tiny spherules of fused glass-like material that stems from the high temperature of impact. While no formal scientific testing has been done yet, there is some geological evidence that indicates that a cosmic event took place. Dr. Benny Peiser, an expert on cosmic impact from Johns Moores University in England, reports that deposits of a form of calcite only found in meteorites has been discovered near the sites. Then there is the sulfur found in the area. In gypsum deposits, sulfur occurs in small marble to palm sized nodules or balls. The sulfur is tightly compacted and over 95% pure. A glassy ash encloses the sulfur nodules indicating burning and vitrification from great heat. Several different amateur groups have filed reports about this sulfur and posted pictures of these unusual sulfur nodules on the web[Sulfur smell shows up during many earthquakes]. Petrographic study of the sulfur could reveal its origins and how it came to form these unique nodules.
The bottom line is this: if the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was caused by cosmic bombardment as the Bible indicates, there should be more evidence waiting to be found. In a culture that generally believes that science and faith in the Bible are incompatible, what does it say if there is scientific evidence to support the Bible’s account of what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah?
In the Bible story of Sodom and Gomorrah we have another incident like that of the Flood, where the God of the Bible said destruction was coming and behold, the destruction came in the form of cosmic impact. Since this happened on more than one occasion, it may not be a coincidence. We should give God’s description of His “ministers of flaming fire” a closer look for what we can learn about comets and what this means for mankind’s future.

I thought I would post some references regarding the history of Doppler Weather Radar and previous concerns with microwave effects on biology. I did not begin my research with any concerns or prior knowledge of Doppler radar. My data has led me to it with support from my theory. That is all. No conspiracy theories, no ill contempt for governments. Just a curiosity about where all of the energy in our atmosphere is coming from and why biology appears to be suffering in developed nations. I think I understand better now. Climate change is a concern, but I believe we can head it off and possibly even reverse some of it in the future. But my findings are completely tragic if they correct. I pray that readers of this blog in 190 countries will investigate this for themselves and do something about it if your data shows the same. I have sent emails to NOAA and other government agencies and researchers.
I believe those “particles” in our atmosphere that the radar is reflecting off can actually attenuate and re-radiate that energy back towards Earth as even lower frequency, penetrating, ionizing radiation. I had something strange happen to me the other night. I took 2 Advil before bed as I had a headache. In the middle of the night I woke up sweating during a rainstorm outside. I could smell the Advil “evaporating” from my pores. I think somehow that storm was heating my body up, possibly even hotter due to the attenuation of Doppler. I stopped sweating as soon as the rain passed. That was strange.

What exactly are microwaves?
Microwaves are a form of invisible electromagnetic radiation that can penetrate deeply into the human body. Like other electromagnetic rays—for instance, radio waves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays and gamma rays—they move at the speed of light.
What specifically is “zapping” us?
Radars of all types, FM radio and TV transmitters, [DOPPLER-Left out in 1978], millions of CB radios and, of course, microwave ovens. People who work or live in areas of high electromagnetic pollution—in high-rise buildings in the line of sight of broadcast antennas or near airport and military radar—may be exposed constantly to a level of radiation as high as one milliwatt per square centimeter.
What level is considered high—and dangerous?
The U.S. maximum established by the American National Standards Institute is 10 milliwatts per square centimeter, but it is only a recommended guideline, and unenforceable. At very high intensities, microwaves can cause an injurious heating-up of tissue. Yet even at levels considerably below the 10-milliwatt standard there have been experiments on test animals which resulted in changes in brain chemistry and the central nervous system, abnormalities of the blood-forming systems and birth defects.
What does zapping feel like?
Humans cannot feel it, unless they are exposed to levels far in excess of the 10-milliwatt standard. It is then experienced as heat. At lower levels most people do not have the vaguest notion of how much or how little radiation they are exposed to.
Is microwave radiation suspected of having any genetic effects? Yes. There was an excessive birth rate of female offspring at a Sperry-Rand radar plant during World War II, where 19 workers in a row became fathers of girls. At Fort Rucker, Ala., in 1969-70, 17 children were born with congenital clubfoot—four times the expected number. Their fathers were helicopter pilots routinely exposed to emissions from military radar.
Have there been any long-term studies on the overall effects of microwaves?
All our studies to my knowledge have been short-term. There has not been one serious study over a 20-year latency period, during which biological damage can evolve. That’s the whole ball game right there. What happens to us in 20 years? The assumption that this stuff at lower levels is absorbed or goes right through the body without ill effect is asinine. It has put our society—the world’s most technologically sophisticated—into the position of crossing its fingers.
Why the cry of cover-up?
For 25 years the military-electronics industry complex has suppressed, ignored or failed to pursue evidence that people were being injured by microwave radiation. The reason is that our weapons systems depend upon the use of microwave radiation. In 1967-68 the State Department went so far as to test women returning from the Moscow embassy for genetic damage—and lied to them as to the nature and the reason for these tests. Today the Army, Navy and Air Force deny there is any such thing as microwave cataracts, even as the Veterans Administration and Department of Labor are awarding compensation for them.
What has been Congress’ role in dealing with microwaves?
Congress has been dragging its feet. I recommend that the Senate call in State Department officials, including Kissinger, to testify under oath about what has been going on in the Moscow embassy and why. High-ranking military officials should also be asked why key documents pertaining to the embassy microwave bombardment were destroyed.
What can be done?
I recently flew into New York during a blinding ice storm and, God, I was glad we had radar in that cockpit. I’m not saying we should dismantle everything. We need to go for attainable goals—surely there is a way to maintain national security without irradiating the populated land mass. Some officials of the EPA and the FDA’s Bureau of Radiological Health believe that the present U.S. standard ought to be tightened. This conviction is shared by a growing number of researchers from the independent scientific and medical community. Perhaps radio and TV transmitters should be moved away from densely populated areas. In California and Massachusetts, citizens’ groups have demanded environmental impact statements before giant Air Force radar units, known as PAVE PAWS, can become operational. And of course, for the injured and the desperate the last recourse is litigation.
Is the general public aware of the problem?
There is a growing awareness. Now when housewives see the word microwave, maybe they’ll think beyond ovens and recipes. There is also bound to be an avalanche of litigation, and the military has tried to buy research that will refute claims of microwave injuries. They want to keep these cases out of the courts.
One Air Force officer told me Paul Brodeur should leave this complicated matter to “the experts.” That’s as good a description of how a cover-up is engineered as any I’ve ever heard.
Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation
After the mid-1960’s, experimental phantom models of various tissue were developed and used for experimentally verifying the theoretical analysis and determining field coupling and absorption characteristics for more complex tissue structures not amenable to theoretical analysis. From the late 1960’s until the present, thermography has played a powerful role in measuring the EM-field-induced temperature changes in both phantom and actual biological tissues, allowing for a rapid and accurate quantification of the absorbed energy and electric-field distributions within the tissues. Both theoretical work and the development of new instrumentation increased substantially in the 1970’s.
Complex spherical models of the human head consisting of a core of brain tissue and spherical shells simulating the skull and the scalp indicated that hot spots or localized regions of high energy absorption could occur in the center of the brain with magnitudes much higher than observed at the surface of the head due to the focusing of energy by the high dielectric constant and spherical shape of the head (Shapiro et ale [161], Guy [71]). More extensive analyses using spherical, prolate spherical, and ellipsoidal models created a much better understanding of the absorbed energy patterns in the bodies of man and animals exposed to EM fields (Ho et ale [78], Durney et ale [38], Johnson et ale [86], Massoudi et ale [113], Gandhi [62], Allen et ale [3]).
With the growing concern and controversy, scientific and engineering societies began to take action to educate their members as well as play a part in public education concerning the state of the art of the field. The IEEE MTT Society became involved in the early 1970’s by setting up a Technical Committee on the Biological Effects of Microwave Radiation, adding engineering experts on biological effects to their Administrative Committee and in 1971 publishing a Transactions Special Issue devoted entirely to the problem of biological effects of microwaves, with invited papers from researchers from the old Tri-Services group and the group of emerging new researchers involved with the problem. Various agencies in the g9vernment charged with funding scientific research also took action to educate themselves. The National Science Foundation (NSF) held a special workshop at the University of Colorado for assessing priorities and research needs pertaining to the problem in 1971. This set the stage for NSF funding of interdisciplinary research on the subject which coincided with increased funding of interdisciplinary research by many governmental agencies. With the increase in new research results there was a clamor by various professional societies to sponsor sessions in their annual symposia or publish papers in their journals on the latest biological effects research. The U.S. National Committee of URSI began including such papers in their meetings beginning in 1971, the biannual Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements (CPEM) in 1972, and by 1973 the IEEE MTT Society began to compete strongly with IMPI on the number of biological effects papers presented in their annual symposia. The MTT-S Committee on Biological Effects of Microwaves invited biological effects and microwave dosimetry papers for inclusion in the TRANSACTIONS and annual symposia. The year 1972 marked an increasing awareness and concern by the public of nonionizing radiation hazards which stemmed from a number of news and journal articles.
The articles stressed some of the more bizarre reported effects, the lack of knowledge concerning these effects, and the big difference in the world safety standards on nonionizing radiation. A number of these articles were somewhat sensational in nature and out of perspective with true state-of-art and knowledge of the field. The Consumers Union went so far as to recommend against the purchase of a microwave oven if any microwave leakage from it could be detected. The widespread confusion and public misunderstanding arising from the media coverage prompted the IEEE in 1972 to form a Committee on Man and Radiation (COMAR) to respond to irresponsible journalism relating to EM radiation effects in the form of public education and position papers. Meantime, governmental involvement in the problem area increased with the formation of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1972. This was not without impacting, however, the newly functioning BRH laboratory, which had built up an interdisciplinary group of engineers and life scientists to carry out research on the problem. By governmental edict, half of the interdisciplinary scientists and engineers of the laboratory transferred to EPA to form another laboratory devoted to the RF-bioeffects research area. The precursor for East-West scientific cooperation on the subject occurred in 1972, with the signing of the agreement between Nixon and Brezhnev, on environmental health exchange.
So with all of this concern in the 1970’s how did they sneek by irradiating all of us and the atmosphere with millions of watts of power 24/7? They claimed if you pulsed it for fractions of a second there was no danger. And yet there are no long terms studies.
UNFORTUNATELY YOU AND I AND OUR CHILDREN ARE THE LONG TERM STUDY AND TO ME, THE RESULTS APPEAR TO BE SO BAD YOU DO NOT EVEN WANT TO KNOW.

I would shut the Dopplers down because I think you are damaging all biology, including humans. You cannot average that 750,000 Watt pulse you are sending through all biology and into the atmosphere over time because time does not exist and you have to consider the decay that each instantaneous pulse of radiation is triggering at the molecular and atomic level. It appears to me it is bad, very bad. You can have the weather guys spend their time picking up all of the dead fish and filling in all of the sinkholes
But that’s just me and this is just a blog. So continue on your way of accelerated decay, but there is a price to pay and for that I pray.

1957-58: Weather Bureau Chief Dr. Francis Reichelderfer accepts a proposal by Dr. James Brantly of Cornell Aeronautical Laboratories to modify surplus Navy Doppler radars for severe storms observation–the first endeavor to measure motion of precipitation particles by radar.
WHY DID WE TAKE MILITARY EQUIPMENT FROM 1958, INCREASE THE ENERGY LEVELS AND POLARIZE THE SIGNAL, AND THEN PULSE 750,000+ WATTS OF ENERGY THRU ALL BIOLOGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT, OVERLAP THE SIGNALS AND MULTIPLY IT BY 150 STATIONS SPREAD ACROSS THE COUNTRY, ADD IN ANOTHER 50 TO 100 HI DEF TDWR RADARS, ON TOP OF ALL OF THE MILITARY RADARS AND NOT EXPECT AN IMPACT ON BIOLOGY? WHERE IS THE STUDY? I CANNOT FIND IT.
IT IS NO GOD DAMN WONDER THAT BEES ARE DISAPPEARING, BATS ARE DISAPPEARING, STARFISH ARE DISSOLVING, ALGAE BLOOMS INCREASING, MASSIVE FISH DYING, DOLPHINS DYING, MASSIVE SINKHOLES OPENING UP, SOME CANCERS INCREASING, AUTISM INCREASING EXPONENTIALLY.

I SUGGEST ALL DIRECTORS OF THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE, NOAA AND THE MILITARY BE PUT IN A ROOM AND HAVE 750,000 WATTS OF KLYSTRON MICROWAVE RADIATION PULSED THROUGH THEM AT THE SAME DUTY CYCLE. I SUGGEST THEY DO THIS FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR AND REPORT BACK THE RESULTS, IF THEY CAN STILL REMEMBER WHAT THE QUESTION WAS.
Just sharing a conversation I am having on a blog. He is correct in that my research is not yet peer reviewed. Call me crazy but my research is telling me the booms in the atmosphere and Earthquakes over Oklahoma City are possibly being triggered by the 6 or 7 high powered Doppler Weather radars pulsing a few megawatts of energy (enough to power a few thousand homes) continuously into the atmosphere over Oklahoma City and the surrounding area. Think of the atmosphere as a capacitor charging/discharging that energy to the Earth, which acts as a battery and you will understand. 10 months of data collection in Florida show me there are increased algae blooms, sinkholes and fish kills near Doppler towers. They have the highest concentration of Dopplers in Oklahoma City which were recently upgraded and added to since they do weather research at the NWS located there. The Enid area Doppler tower may have triggered the large fish kill near Enid last Summer. This energy absorbed by the atmosphere may trigger more storms/lightning and an increase in weakly ionizing background radiation, which is bad for biology as it discharges to the Earth. I can find NO scientific studies on short/long term effects of this amount of microwave radiation beamed over our heads. The klystron element in a Doppler Tower is similar to the klystron in your microwave oven.

ChemE Stewart — There are many, many radars around the country, including the WSR-88D radars of which you speak. Weather radars like these typically have a low duty cycle (O(1%)) as they are pulsed radars, which means that the time-averaged transmitted power from a 750,000 W peak-power NEXRAD radar is ~7.5 kW, which is then “transmitted” over a very large area. This, combined with the exponential power density decay with range and the extremely low absorption by air molecules (attenuation of S-band / 10 cm wavelength EM energy by oxygen and other common tropospheric gases is extremely low), means that the average power absorbed by a volume of the atmopshere is very, very, very small. There is no evidence that weather radars “trigger more storms/lightning” nor is there any that support the notion that they can cause earthquakes.
On the contrary, there *is* research supporting the associations between waste water disposal and fracking/drilling and the recent swarm in earthquakes in Oklahoma. I’d look spend more time on this angle than on the “weather radars cause earthquakes” angle that is not scientifically feasible.

1) You have the highest concentration of Doppler Weather radars of any area of the country in Oklahoma City and one near Enid
2) I realize they are pulsed. What is the biological effect of that instantaneous 750,000 watt pulse on the surroundings? Show me one study of the long/short term effect on surrounding biology. Would you stick your head in a microwave oven for the same pulse time as a doppler klystron? I have been doing a study and in Florida there is a pronounced increase in fish kills due to algae blooms, as well as >75% of the large sinkholes and waterspouts around towers.
3) Where is that “exponential power density decay” going? into thin air? Have you ever done an energy balance? Energy just not disappear you know. It can build up over time.
4) What happens when you overlap the pulses of 6 or 7 radars at the same time like you have in Oklahoma City? What happens to that 4 or 5 megawatts of instantaneous overlapping pulsed power? Does that energy accumulate in the atmosphere over time?
5) I never said fracking does not contribute. But it cannot explain the number and locations of all of your Earthquakes.
6) It is well know that the Dopplers receive ground clutter reflections? How much of that instantaneous radiation is reaching the ground? Where is it all going. Why has Oklahoma’s autism rate jumped 400%?
7) Why did the Enid area have one of the largest fish kills ever within short range of the recently upgraded dual pol Doppler station?

No we don’t. There are similarly-spaced radars all across the country. This was by intention, of course, so that as much of the US would be covered as possible. There are four WSR-88D radars in the state of OK, but the coverage isn’t much different than in many other parts of the country. Look at this map: http://weather.rap.ucar.edu/radar/
The EM energy doesn’t “disappear”, but the density decays exponentially with range because, essentially, the fixed amount of “energy” spreads out over a progressively larger area (ergo, the energy density decreases). Nearly all of the energy passes through the atmosphere. As noted, at S band, attenuation by atmospheric gases is very, very, very small. There is a miniscule amount of attenuation, but that occurs as a result of scattering and absorption (which manifests as thermal agitation). Again, the average power for even the powerful WSR-88D radar isn’t particularly high, especially when one considers the massive volume through which this energy is transmitted.
What happens to light when it propagates through the atmosphere? Does it accumulate? What happens near cities that have many radio stations? Does the energy from your favorite radio station “accumulate”? No, is propagates through the atmosphere harmlessly.
There was *not* a power upgrade when the radars underwent the dual-pol upgrade. There was a 3 dB reduction in the horizontal channel when the power was split evenly into the horizontal and vertical channels. The total power, however, is unchanged. These radars have been in place since the 1990s, and they are the same radars that are located throughout the country.
I am a radar meteorologist, so this is what I do. There is no evidence that radars can cause earthquakes. EM energy from a WSR-88D that is scattered back to earth (or that “hits” the earth under super-refractive conditions) is absorbed and/or scattered by a very shallow layer of earth. What is the physical mechanism by which this small amount of power can cause earthquakes that originate 4-5 km below ground?

In Norman, you have one WSR-88D(KCRI) and three additional radars. You have a TDWR in Oklahoma City and 2-4 more radars at the aeronautical center (possibly TDWR). Additional WSR-88Ds are KTLX, KVNX, KINX and another TDWR in Tulsa. That is more radars than almost anywhere I have researched that is non-military.
The energy decreases because it is getting absorbed by the atmosphere. The atmosphere is a weakly ionized plasma (not just air and water vapor)

Your Dopplers have us all in an easy bake microwave oven from the overhead atmosphere. Many of your citizens are hearing booms in the sky. Neither MIT or Lincoln Labs performed any short/long term biological studies that I can find. They rushed the TDWRs in to assist with airport accidents.

OK, last post because it’s apparent that nothing I say will affect your opinion on this matter. You have not posited a single physical method by which radars can cause EQs. You listed radars in Oklahoma (TDWRs near OKC and TUL and WSR88Ds in FDR, TLX, VNX, INX) but this density isn’t particularly high relative to some other areas of the country. For example, if we look to the south in Texas and consider only the eastern part of the state, there are four total TDWRs in the DFW and Houston areas (TDFW, TDAL, TIAH, and THOU) and a bunch of WSR88Ds (KFWS, KDYX, KDFX, KCRP, KBRO, KEWX, KGRK, KHGX, etc.). If we go over towards Washington DC, there are four TDWRs in a 20 mile radius of DC (TDCA, TADW, TBWI, and TIAD) as well as a number of WSR88Ds. We do have a number of test radars around Norman that operate sometimes with irregular schedules (KOUN, the PAR, and KCRI being examples), but there are other test radars at other universities and facilities as well.
I’ll just say this — weather radars do not affect the jet stream. A scale analysis of the forces involved in the jet stream and in radar technology (e.g., the pressure gradient force, the Coriolis force, the centrifugal force, etc., vs. the electromagnetic attraction of particles caused by a 10 cm wavelength weather radar) would easily show this. Asserting that there is an effect is incorrect.
For others who are reading this, take comfort in knowing that there there is no valid, peer-reviewed research in the literature that supports the notion that the weather radars in use today can cause EQs. I still don’t know why we’re talking about radars when there is research supporting the link between EQs and a much more obvious and physically-connected mechanism (high-pressure fluid injection, fracking, drilling, etc.).

The fact is, over the same 25 years since America’s addiction to Doppler radar, our bees are disappearing, bats are disappearing, autism has increased 800% in places, persistant algae blooms have increased, star fish are dissolving on the west coast, melanoma, breast cancer and prostate cancer are increasing and you guys have had more mesovortex events and earthquakes in Oklahoma City recently with the highest local concentration of Dopplers.
I predict if you turn them off your Earthquakes will reduce and weather will improve. Believe what you want, I am just sharing information

Your link talks about how stresses from the impending massive EQ caused some changes in the atmosphere and does not discuss in any way how weather radars can cause EQs. In addition, it says nothing about how radars affect the the jet streak. I’ll say it again — the forces that affect the jet stream are much, much, much stronger than the forces on that same air from the weather radar network.
The rest of your comment falls under “correlation does not imply causation”. Sure, all sorts of things have changed in the past 25 years. There are more cell phones now than ever. We don’t use dial-up modems any more. There are more college students enrolled in for-profit schools than ever before. There are more all-electric vehicles on the road than ever before. There are more WalMarts, LCD televisions, satellite radio units, skinny-cut jeans, and Crocs shoes now than there were 25 years ago. I eat more bananas now than I did 25 years ago. All of these are correlated to varying extents to the comments you made regarding bees, bats, autism, etc. Not surprisingly, many other western countries with very poor (or no) radar networks are seeing similar events.

Actually, South Korea has the largest Autism incident rate at 1/38 children and the highest weather/military Doppler Radar concentration. Cuba just got their first Doppler installation in 2012 and has had one of the lowest rates.
So no you are making up a bunch of crap when you have not studied it for the past year like I have. Here is another plot of Florida for you: >80% of fish kills, sinkholes, waterspouts are clustered with 50 miles of Doppler towers. They get sinkholes and waterspouts, not earthquakes and tornadoes like you guys.
Would you leave your microwave oven door open at home while you are cooking? That is only a few hundred watts.

A WSR88D radar does not emit MWs of energy. I was incorrect before — the duty cycle of the WSR88d is 0.002, not 0.01. This means that the average power is even lower. I’m using average power because the radar transmits a 1-4 microsecond (0.000001-0.000004 second) pulse approximately 400-1100 times per second. So, the amount of power transmitted over a 1 second time is much, much less than a megawatt!
I haven’t studied this for the past year like you have — I’ve studied this for a decade. I have a B.S., M.S., and PhD in meteorology, and the entirety of my graduate study was on weather radar. Believe me, if “radar caused tornadoes”, my graduate research would have been a lot easier since I would have had a lot more cases available for study!

If you average the power of Mike Tyson’s fist over 1 minute it will not knock you out, unfortunately it does not work that way. He knocks you out in a fraction of a second. Also, the atmosphere is an accumulator and discharger of energy, not an averager. If it was an averager, we would not get concentrated storm fronts. You are sending instantaneous pulses of 750,000 watts of polarized, penetrating radiation through the atmosphere and objects on the ground, which you consider “ground clutter”. When you take 5-7 doppler weather/military radar stations in an area and overlap them you get megawatts.of instantaneous pulses of energy, all being gradually accumulated in the atmosphere (the energy does not just disappear)
Would you stick your head or your child’s in your klystron activated microwave oven at home for the same 0.000004 second pulse duty cycle for a day? The power is MUCH less than Doppler, Answer that one question for me?
I like it when people start throwing out initials and pedigrees, I graduated as a valedictorian and with high distinction and high honors in chemical engineering and I coach my kids baseball team, so what? I also know from 26 years of power system design what an accumulator does, what vacuum condensing and what ionizing radiation looks like and can do.
I know that if you penetrate water with ionizing radiation you can ionize the dissolved oxygen from the water and form phosphates and nitrates and trigger blooms and hypoxic conditions, just like seen during El Nino and around Doppler Stations during blooms and fish kills.
I know if you penetrate and weakly ionize biology you can get mutations like in Autism and cancers.
I know if you increase the ionization energy of the atmosphere it has to discharge that energy somewhere, somehow. like during waterspouts and lightning storms.
I know that in a State as big as Alaska, the starfish are wasting/dissolving 3 miles from the PACG Doppler Tower in Sitka. I know that in 2013 the two largest fish kills occured near the same PACG Doppler and PAPD in Fairbanks
I know that in California, starfish are dissolving on the beach around Pillar Point Air Station, with 7 high powered Military/Dopplers.
I know that in California, the largest number of autism clusters occured in a triangle between 3 doppler towers and one military doppler installation
I know that in 1995-1997 the autism rate spiked in children in Minnesota in a county overlapped by two newly installed NEXRAD towers KMPX & KARX started up in the same time period
I know that the Neuse river in North Carolina, which is very close to the KMHX Doppler tower is having repeat fish kills this year.
I know that in 2012, just a few months after upgrading the KMLB Doppler station to dual pol, the Indian River lagoon turned brown, plantlife began dying, manatees, dolphins and pelicans began dying and tens of thousands of fish off the gulf stream are dying and continue to do so.
