You are what you breathe...

Don’t Fear the Reaper, We’ll be Able to Fly

All our times have come
Here but now they’re gone
Seasons don’t fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
We can be like they are

Come on baby… Don’t fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand… Don’t fear the Reaper
We’ll be able to fly… Don’t fear the Reaper
Baby I’m your man…

Valentine is done
Here but now they’re gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity…
Romeo and Juliet

40,000 men and women everyday… Like Romeo and Juliet
40,000 men and women everyday… Redefine happiness
Another 40,000 coming everyday…We can be like they are

Come on baby… Don’t fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand… Don’t fear the Reaper
We’ll be able to fly… Don’t fear the Reaper
Baby I’m your man…

Love of two is one
Here but now they’re gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear we couldn’t go on
The door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew and then disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared
Saying don’t be afraid

Come on baby… And we had no fear
And she ran to him… Then they started to fly
We looked backward and said goodbye
We had become like they are
She had taken his hand
We had become like they are

Come on baby…don’t fear the reaper

A Farmer’s Guide To String Theory

Now this is not to be confused with the Farmer’s Almanac and their weather predictions although the two appear to be quantumtatively unified. I think I told everyone I grew up on a farm in rural Maine. I pretty much played outside with sticks and threw rocks and snowballs, Maine has a lot of both. Unfortunately kids today don’t have that luxury, their imaginations are already made up for them on that electronic device, they just have to push the button.  I did some chores, cleaned cow stalls, baled and stacked a lot of hay, which coincidentally uses a lot of string, which leads me to what I want to talk about. This story will teach you everything you need to know about string theory from a farm boy’s perspective. There’s lots more to it but I am just going to focus on the stuff my brain can wrap on right now and important stuff that might improve your time on this here Earth.  I ain’t got all of those advanced degrees but I fill in the blanks with a good dose of creativity and Down East humor  It will include lotsa pictures, because those tell a lot of words and I am short on time, aren’t we all. You have seen some of these before, but humans are sometimes as stubborn as a cow in a patch of clover, so let’s begin:

It all starts with that black hole.  I can’t really say anything around the farm resembles a black hole but maybe a cows butt and I am going to spare you that picture, so let’s just go with this picture, although the actual size of the black holes I’ll be talk’n about won’t be much bigger than a fermi, give or take a few, in radius.  That just reminded me, I did a blog on less fortunate cows here.

cow black hole

You just need to know that them black holes, although they are small, weigh much, much more than my John Deere tractor so they react gravitatively, can shoot a spark like when the disc harrow hits a rock and have good suction, like Betsy’s new born calf

?????????????????????????????????????

Although instead of milk, they suck entropy, ionize and condense their surroundings. The next thing you need to know is that black hole can form open and closed strings, sort of like this picture:

twine

I pretty much figure they can do this by collapsing more matter around their surface, stringing it along, kinda like when that old barn collapsed down the road.

barn collapse

I figure that Hydrogen collapses like this on the Sun and then creates these particles and strings that stream our way in that there sunshine and solar wind, fool’n us just a bit.  I never used any Hydrogen on the farm, but sure would like one  of those newfangled Hydrogen tractors.  I’ll keep dream’n, maybe someday.

hollandtractor

This is a bale of hay with a pair of closed strings hold’n them together.  I threw a lot of them bales, they hurt my hands with blisters and all and had lots of poison ivy in ’em at times that would make me itch for awhile. This is pretty much what I wanna talk about, those closed strings.

bale of hay

It appears to me that those open strings tend to close up, kinda chase’n their tail cause if you remember, they are real heavy gravitatively and tend to chase their tail, like my old dog towzer did.  Only I think they eventually catch it and close up, but I can’t be sure cause I can’t see the dag burn things

Dog_chasing_tail_by_Tsebresos

One day I was sitt’n on the back porch and dozed off and had this dream about these closed strings.  Only these strings were real good at hide’n and confus’n us, although if you look closely and forget what you been told, they pretty much look like strings. I think them black holes form those strings above our heads and maybe below ground and around the sun and all through this dag gone place, becom’n real energetic like a rutt’n bull in a cowpatch and mak’n little holes in things, like when my water tank sprang a leak after that last CME, only much smaller.

watertower leak

Anyway, I want to just quantumtatively expungiate onto this page the things in my mind that appear to be strings and let you decide for yourself if I ain’t crazy or not.  These string thoughts, if they stay in the head long enough will have you feeling similar to me I’m pretty sure, so I am just sharing these thoughts and feelings that been rattl’n round in that space between my ears and seem to pop up each morn’n I wake up.

These appear to be sun strings, hot stuff as far as I can tell, except for their suction actually makes them sunspots cool off something significant they are going into.

sunstrings

These appear to be solar wind and magnetic field strings, that artist actually drew them magnetic field lines like strings, what da ya know.

Solar Wind1

Now you remember Betsy’s calf and that real good suction?  Well from here on remember when you do real good suction/pull a vacuum in the atmosphere you cool the air down and make it freez’n cold.  And freez’n cold can turn humiditive air into clouds and fog and ice crystals so you remember that going forward, OK?

In my dream these appeared to be some high up strings, almost like a membrane but I ain’t smart enough for those yet, so let’s stick with strings.

nuctilucent clouds

nuctilucent clouds

A little lower are those cirrus clouds, they look like whispy strings, ain’t sure just how many strings are there, I think sometime’s lots cause they tend to show up just before big storms on the farm.

Cirrus_clouds_mar08

Cirrus Clouds

I ain’t never seen the likes of these clouds on the farm, if I did it would scare the bejesus outta me. Kinda looks like a loopy string though.  Looks like some good suction, Betsy would be proud

puffy clouds

Mammantus Clouds

This double rainbow showed up on the farm during a real whipper snapper of a storm that jump’d outta no where, coulda sworn that light’nin was shootin straight outta that dark center but that ain’t in no Physics book at the library, at least not in these parts.  Wind also picked up fast, lotsa suction. Reminds me of one of those toroidal string things I saw stick’n outta a brane of sorts from last month’s string magazine and the rainbow ain’t just half of it.

Double-Rainbow-with-Lightning-e1336046510329

That there waterspout came off the lake and pretty much tore up the vegetable patch. Pretty sure there’s one’a them dark matter strings up the middle of this one. It appears about ready to get all kinked up.  I found a link to the video, and even though the physicists don’t think so, the news reporters think it is a string and so do I, might even bet the farm on it. That reminds me of one’a them string jokes: An underage string walked into a bar and asked the bartender for a drink and he replied fraid knot…maybe I better stick to engineering.

waterspout brunswick ga

Brunswick, GA Waterspout

This twister just missed the farm.  Kinda looks like mesovortexual strings up the middle of this one, I think they can be tangled up overhead too,  creat’n lotsa ionization and suction.

Tornado over Farm

Here’s one of those there crop circles that showed up one night in the wheat field while I was down at the stomp and romp do’in a line dance.  Since it opened in my field, and if I didn’t know better that looks like black holes in strings hanging off some kind of P Brane lensing thinga jimmigy, then if I am right, I just want enough for a down payment on that there Hydrogen tractor from my book proceeds, so I better git to write’n.

4065iPictOHVersion-3

Anyway, that reminds me, I need to call my buddy with the come-along and chains down the road to help me fish the tractor out of a dag gone sinkhole that opened up last week just before one of them hard pounding rains that never seem to want to end.  Should be dry enough now to get it out so I am off.

sinkhole tractor

If I can’t get the tractor outta that Earthly indentation or if it’s all stove up I’ll have to go back to use’n my daddy’s old Farmall M with the hand crank that’s been resting out in the pasture and just got a new paint job.

If You Only Had the Courage Dr. Kaku

cowardly lionFrom a great read on String theory you can read here:

Cosmic strings are fundamental strings that have been blown up to cosmic scales during inflation. Being
very massive, they would reveal their presence via gravitational lensing and leave a spectacular signature.
“D-strings joining with fundamental strings at junctions could lead to a network of strings in the sky, which
would be incontrovertible evidence for string theory”, says Green. Such massive strings would also be a source
of gravitational waves, so it is possible that gravitational- wave detectors such as LIGO in the US could
pick them up. “It’s a long shot, but we should know the answer within 5–10 years,” says Polchinski.

Burning Ring of Fire

fireballBlack Hole ‘Firewall’ Theory Challenges Einstein’s Equivalence Principle

In March 2012, Joseph Polchinski began to contemplate suicide — at least in mathematical form. A string theorist at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara, California, Polchinski was pondering what would happen to an astronaut who dived into a black hole. Obviously, he would die. But how?

According to the then-accepted account, he wouldn’t feel anything special at first, even when his fall took him through the black hole’s event horizon: the invisible boundary beyond which nothing can escape. But eventually — after hours, days or even weeks if the black hole was big enough — he would begin to notice that gravity was tugging at his feet more strongly than at his head. As his plunge carried him inexorably downwards, the difference in forces would quickly increase and rip him apart, before finally crushing his remnants into the black hole’s infinitely dense core.

But Polchinski’s calculations, carried out with two of his students — Ahmed Almheiri and James Sully — and fellow string theorist Donald Marolf at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), were telling a different story. In their account, quantum effects would turn the event horizon into a seething maelstrom of particles. Anyone who fell into it would hit a wall of fire and be burned to a crisp in an instant

….It’s a violent process, like breaking the bonds of a molecule, and it releases energy,” says Polchinski. The energy generated by severing lots of twins would be enormous. “The event horizon would literally be a ring of fire that burns anyone falling through,” he says

In order to convert mass to entropy, black holes must first ionize, condense and collapse ordinary matter at their surface, releasing tremendous amounts of charged particles such as electrons and positrons and low energy red-shifted radiation to their surroundings.  This is also what creates the ionizing bubble of protons around them.

Reminds me of a song…

Have a nice weekend.

Awash in a Sea of Entropy?

4-11-13 WeatherI have been plotting every sinkhole I can find in the news (which is very exciting), the East Coast of the US is covered with them over the past couple of months. …I have never done this previously, so I do not know how many are “normal” but we have a boatload and have had lots of severe weather and have had a very cold spring.

I thought this news coverage was timely:

US suddenly looks like a sinkhole nation

Reports of a new sinkhole come each week. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez examines the sinkhole epidemic.

The entire East coast is covered with sinkholes and the current storm system covers most of the coast.  I am not trying to connect up all the strings with sinkholes, you can see the doppler for yourself.  I wonder if some of those strings are gravitationally pulled towards other more massive strings/sinkholes, sort of consolidating strings over time, I do not know. My house is currently under a tornado warning tonight again, with a supercell headed our way, so it is back into the basement for the 4th time this year.

I had a new epiphany today.  I think these strings are like wires, when they entangle and approach each other in the atmosphere you get “cloud to cloud” lightning whenever the voltage difference between the wires is great enough to jump the gap between them in the atmosphere.  Likewise, lightning can also jump the gap to the ground as well as possibly to other wires in the upper atmosphere.  Since these “wires” are all connected to different areas of the Earth and atmosphere they have different voltage levels… Below is a wind map and my interpretation of what we are seeing in the atmosphere.

4-11-13 wind map

I heard a good song today that is applicable, so I will share that also, Godspeed.

Now Do You See The Quantum Behavior We are Being Shown??

Saturn’s hexagon is a persisting hexagonal cloud pattern around the north pole of Saturn, located at about 78°N.[1][2]The sides of the hexagon are about 13,800 km (8,600 mi) long, which is longer than the Earth’s diameter.[3] It rotates with a period of 10h 39m 24s, the same period as Saturn’s radio emissions from its interior.[4] However, the hexagon does not shift in longitude like other clouds in the visible atmosphere.[5] Saturn’s south pole does not have a hexagon, according to Hubble observations.[6] But it does have a vortex, and there is also a vortex inside the northern hexagon.

Leonardo da Vinci studied the Flower of Life‘s form and its mathematical properties. He drew the Flower of Life itself, as well as various components such as the Seed of Life. He drew geometric figures representing shapes such as the platonic solids, a sphere, and a torus, and also used the golden ratio of phi in his artwork; all of which may be derived from the Flower of Life design.[2][10][11][12]

It’s not Saturn’s hexagonal cloud structure that is important, it is the entropic quantum field forming the hexagon that is creating the electromagnetic, thermodynamic and gravitational fields within the clouds that is important.

Mindfulness and Enlightenment

Buddha-paintingMindfulness (Pali: sati,[1] Sanskrit: smṛti; also translated as awareness) is a spiritual or psychological faculty (indriya) that, according to the teaching ofthe Buddha, is considered to be of great importance in the path to enlightenment . It is one of the seven factors of enlightenment. “Correct” or “right” mindfulness (Pali: sammā-sati, Sanskrit samyak-smṛti) is the seventh element of the noble eightfold path. Mindfulness meditation can also be traced back to the earlier Upanishads, part of Hindu scripture.[2]

Enlightenment (bodhi) is a state of being in which greed, hatred and delusion (Pali: moha) have been overcome, abandoned and are absent from the mind. Mindfulness, which, among other things, is an attentive awareness of the reality of things (especially of the present moment) is an antidote to delusion and is considered as such a ‘power’ (Pali: bala). This faculty becomes a power in particular when it is coupled with clear comprehension of whatever is taking place.

I decided when I wrote this “research blog”, whatever that is, that I would try to do my best to practice these basic principals of Buddhism.  I have no axe to grind, no ego to fill, no point to make that either science or religion is right or wrong. I have just always had this creative mind locked in the analytical shell of an engineer and I am just seeking truth and exploring some unchartered waters.

I have always loved to read nature and science articles. Quantum mechanics, although it entangles my brain fairly quickly, really intrigues me.  It is that uncertainty built into the nature of things changing just by observing them which seems completely crazy.  Humans have this strange behavior in that we tend to see that which we believe.  I never saw any of this “quantum stuff” I have been talking about until after my mind first accepted that 95% of the mass-energy in the universe is in a “dark” state, which is most likely quantum in behavior.  I also had to assume it was close to home and not just “out there”. I also am assuming, based upon observations that the quantum field varies with a wide range of different energy levels within those bubbles and strings. Then, almost like an actor gets into character, my mind flipped into this “quantum belief” mode, looking for signs of quantum behavior in our macroscopic world. Once I did that, things actually appear to make more sense to me now and I have a lot more answers for myself and less phenomena to wonder about. Of course this new belief brings with it a whole host of new questions and concerns, but those will just have to work themselves out.

fogbow clouds

Something is CONDENSING water vapor along that arc

I realize it is hard to believe that double rainbows are not just optical, when that is what we have been taught to see and it is a simple explanation. Physicists look at them and see the optics.  Meteorologists look at them and say that they are just a “phenomena” that follow rainstorms and appear when the sun pops out. A Chemical Engineer looks at the thermodynamics and says what is condensing the water vapor and making the clouds in that local area in the first place?  So there is something in it for everyone. If these micro black hole strings do exist, they should form toroids and extract entropy from their surroundings and cool a gas, they should create electromagnetic charge at their surface (lightning), they should have a gravitational/orbital effect and they can/should form strings based upon everything I have read. They should also trigger beta decay in their surroundings. Beta Plus Decay can produce electrons and positrons in their surroundings.

In my model of that rainbow, if you remove the optical effect from the bending of sunlight, you should still get the condensing action from the string within the arc. That is why I looked at “fogbows” (humans have a name for everything) and they appear to confirm my thinking. I see something condensing water vapor and forming clouds in an arcing pattern in that photo. NASA says they are just smaller water droplets so they are not reflecting light the same. I really do not agree with that thinking at all.  Of course I now believe in the quantum, so that is what I am seeing.

So here are today’s headlines:

imagesizer

An artist’s impression of a terrestrial gamma-ray flash, called “dark lightning,” originating from a thunderstorm. The gamma rays (pink), in turn, generate electrons and positrons (yellow and green), their antimatter counterparts, which get blasted into space.

Dark lightning’ zaps airline passengers with radiation
“Dark lightning” that is almost invisible within clouds may regularly blast airline passengers with large numbers of gamma rays, scientists find.

Those Positron emissions are a clue to the Beta Plus Decay occurring from dark matter interactions in the vicinity of the lightning.  I don’t believe we need to spend billions looking in space when I think the stuff is right here orbiting all around us in strings of entropy, coalescing into the Earth.  It is really just a part of our quantum field, which appears to be very “frumpy” or “frothy”  or stringy here on Earth with lots of open and closed strings and energetic entropic particles zipping around.

Out in space, away from those solar winds, then yes, I think spacetime is fairly smooth with the occasional energetic particles zipping by.  Along the solar winds I would expect turbulence, just like the turbulence along our jet streams on Earth, since they are really the same animal.

Gravitational bodies appear to attract this stuff, so that is the uncertainty we face in this universe, wherever we end up.
